This exciting journey has shown that diagnosing LAL-D can be "easy" and, therefore, gives us hope to get those people who are still waiting for their diagnosis diagnosed.

Another important point noted is that LAL-D, in addition to being easy to diagnose, has effective specific treatment and is funded, so affected patients of all ages can receive treatment, if they require it.
